Funders

RHLS relies on your support in order to help community-based organizations produce hundreds of housing units for their clients each year, and so that RHLS attorneys can work on complex transactional projects without charging fees.

We are grateful for the ongoing support we receive from a full range of community development advocates and practictioners,  including: statewide funders of legal services, city and local municipal funders, private foundations, private corporations, banks, private individuals, and law firms.

Major Funding Partners

We would like to publicly thank several of our major funding partners:

• Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network (PLAN): PLAN is the state’s coordinated system of organizations who provide civil legal aid for those with nowhere else to turn.
• Pennsylvania Interest on Lawyers Trust Account (IOLTA): IOLTA is a program created as a voluntary means to raise money to provide civil legal services to the poor and disadvantaged of Pennsylvania.
• The William Penn Foundation has encouraged RHLS to take an increasingly proactive role in promoting policies and Best Practices statewide.
• PNC, Wachovia, and National Pennsylvania Bank, who have played a crucial role in supporting the organization and its efforts to work on more coordinated and strategic community-building efforts.
