The House Financial Services Subcommittee on Insurance, Housing, & Community Opportunity held a hearing on homelessness amongst veterans on September 14, 2012. The committee discussed two bills: the Vulnerable Veterans Housing Reform Act of 2012 (H.R. 6361) and the HAVEN Act (H.R. 6381), which seek to simplify processes and improve access to supports for veterans in need.
