PULP Co-Director, Patrick Cicero, testified on Thursday, January 23, 2014 before the House Democratic Policy Committee in opposition to Senate Bill 1121. SB 1121 would get rid of utility provided default service and require all consumers to choose an alternate electric generation supplier even if the consumer did not want to do so. PULP is concerned that this structure will increase costs for low-income households without any benefits to those households. For more information about the bill, please contact PULP.
