Recently, the Legal Intelligencer published ” Working to Develop Affordable Housing in Pennsylvania” by RHLS’s Rachel Blake.
The article discusses the important advocacy RHLS has worked on with ACTION-Housing (Pittsburgh), Project HOME and foundation partners including the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation, the Connelly Foundation, The Heinz Endowments, the Middleton Partnership, and The Pittsburgh Foundation. This advocacy has resulted in changes to the Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program’s Qualified Allocation Plan that incentivize development of affordable rental projects for vulnerable populations who need supportive services in addition to affordable housing.
