The Pennsylvania Utility Law Project (PULP) and Regional Housing Legal Services (RHLS) are excited to announce that Joline Price has joined the PULP/RHLS team as our newest Staff Attorney.
Originally from California, Joline joins us with extensive experience in Philadelphia’s legal aid community. Prior to joining PULP, Joline worked as a Staff Attorney at the Pennsylvania Health Law Project, where she assisted low-income, disabled, and elderly Pennsylvanians in navigating eligibility for Medicaid, and in accessing services through Medicaid managed care plans. Before law school, Joline did community organizing work around access to health care and affordable housing.
Joline received her BA in Linguistics and Anthropology from the University of California, Los Angeles, and her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where she received an extraordinary service award for completing over 600 hours of pro bono service while in law school.
Recognizing the interconnectedness of issues facing low-income individuals, Joline is excited to join a specialty practice that provides such needed expertise on utility issues. She looks forward to advocating for the rights of low-income individuals and providing counsel for communities on utility law matters
When Joline is off the clock, she sits on the board of the National Havurah Committee and is active in Philadelphia’s Jewish community. While she is a dedicated Oakland A’s fan, she confesses that she has grown to appreciate the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles since her relocation. Additionally, she enjoys cooking, baking, and hosting meals at her home. RHLS and PULP staff are particularly interested in exploring her culinary expertise.
Joline will primarily work out of PULP’s office in Harrisburg. Join us in welcoming Joline to our team!
