Date: Tuesday, April 28, 2026| 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM

Description:

Join the Housing Alliance on April 28th, from 2:30 – 3:30 PM for a webinar on Pennsylvania’s new rule that gives the President Judge of each judicial district the authority to create or coordinate with landlord-tenant mediation programs aimed at preventing evictions.

Why this matters:

Landlord-tenant mediation programs can help prevent evictions by giving landlords and tenants a chance to reach workable agreements before final judgment. These programs can help keep families housed, reduce court caseloads, lower turnover costs for landlords, and support faster, more practical resolutions for both parties. By removing a major administrative barrier, this rule enables communities to respond quicker to rising eviction rates and other urgent housing needs.
